Sir Julian Brazier

Former UK Government Minister for the Reserves and Distinguished Fellow of RUSI

Former MP and government minister, with a background in maths and philosophy from Oxford. He worked in the City and management consulting, co-authoring a study on defence procurement in NATO nations and Sweden. Serving 13 years as an officer in the TA, including five with Special Forces, he entered Parliament in 1987. He held various positions, including PPS to Gillian Shephard, shadow minister for aviation and shipping, and MoD Minister for Reserves (2014-16). He is an adviser to Tyburn St Raphael, a Distinguished Fellow of RUSI, and a patron of the Ukraine Freedom Company.
