as “Defence24”.

Personal data will be processed by the controller in order to enable registration to
participate in the event (e.g., conference, workshops or webinar), enable participation in the
event, including sending information regarding the event program, etc. [legal grounds:
Article 6 (1) ( f) GDPR – implementation of the legitimate interest pursued by the controller in
the form of ensuring the proper organization and course of the event. In certain cases, the
controller may process your data based on your consent, Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. In any case as
such, you will be asked for your consent].
We will process your personal data for a period of 1 year since the end of the event or the
successful filing of an objection or withdrawal of consent depending on the legal basis for
processing.
Data Recipients
The controller may provide the collected data to entities providing services to them, in
particular: companies providing IT services. In addition, the information provided may be
made available to the relevant public authorities, if obliged to do so by current legislation.
Each time such transfer shall be carried out only on the basis of an agreement concluded in
this regard or another binding legal basis. In such situations, the amount of data transferred
shall be limited to the required minimum.
In exceptional circumstances, personal data may be transferred to entities providing services
to the controller operating outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Whenever your
personal data should be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or to
countries that do not provide the same or an adequate level of protection for personal data,
the controller will ensure that this is done on a valid legal basis and with the legally required
safeguards.
You have the following rights regarding personal data:
- The right to obtain information, access data and to obtain a copy of the data
You have the right at any time to request information about the personal data that
the controller stores or has access to. Upon any request, the controller is also
required to send you a copy of the personal data they process. - The right to personal data rectification
The controller takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal data should be correct,
complete, and up to date. In an event of a change of your data, please send us such
information. - The right to data portability
You have the right to receive your personal data provided to the controller in a
structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, as well as the right to request
the transfer of such data to another controller to be designated. - The right to data erasure and to limit processing
In the cases indicated in the provisions, you have the right to request the erasure of
your personal data (which applies, in particular, but not exclusively to situations
where you object to the processing of your personal data and the controller will not
have an overriding legitimate basis for processing, or the processing is for marketing
purposes).
This right will be exercised by the controller without unreasonable delay and
provided that other regulations should not require the controller to process the data. - The right to object to processing
In the cases indicated in the regulations and depending on your individual situation,
you have the right to object to further processing of your personal data. In such
situations, the controller will not continue processing unless they demonstrate the
existence of overriding, valid legitimate grounds for processing or the data are
necessary for the establishment, investigation, or defense of claims.
At any time, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority
(President of Personal Data Protection Office) and the right to an effective remedy
before a court in a specific case in which you consider that your rights have been
violated.
