Veterans as leaders and mentors – ‘Patriotism after service’

The discussion panel “Veterans as Leaders and Mentors – ‘Patriotism After Service’” will focus on supporting veterans after their military service, with particular emphasis on the role of the Veterans Centre, government support, Invictus Games, and utilizing the potential of veterans in the labor market. The activities of the Veterans Centre, which supports former soldiers, will be discussed, along with legislative aspects of veterans’ support, including the expansion of care for soldiers serving on the border. The benefits of employing veterans by companies will also be addressed, as well as the role of Invictus Games in supporting their physical and social activities. The discussion will also cover psychological support and rehabilitation, which enable veterans’ development. The panel will be an opportunity to debate the organization of Invictus Games in Poland and the benefits of integrating veterans into society. The goal is to present veterans as leaders and mentors after their service.
