Where are the brigades and divisions – before the NATO summit in The Hague
The upcoming NATO summit in The Hague will be crucial for the collective defence system. The political declarations of ‘defending every inch of NATO territory’ from Vilnius and Madrid must be translated into a real defence capability, which, in light of the Russian threat, means strengthening capabilities both in terms of quantity, quality and adaptation to the evolution of the battlefield. The effective building of these capabilities may determine the credibility of the North Atlantic Alliance in the future.
