East Shield. Defence and protection of Poland’s border in crisis and war

The panel will focus on securing Poland’s eastern border, in the context of hybrid and military threats, with a particular focus on the Shield East National Deterrence and Defense Program. Participants will discuss the Polish Army’s plans and resources, including in the area of engineering preparedness and cooperation with NATO allies, identifying key actions needed for effective border defense in crisis and war.
