Tim Kyumin Lee is currently a business development manager responsible for C4I & Land Systems in DE(Defence Electronics)1 Business Department and is actively involved in business development of the next tactical communication systems in global opportunities.
He joined Hanwha Systems in October 2020, assigned to manage offset and industrial partnerships working with US Boeing Defence for avionics. After the offset program with Boeing, he has been assigned as project lead for Australian Projects(Land8116 & Land 400) for Hanwha Systems and successfully carried our negotiations and contract signing for both projects with Hanwha Defence Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. During the Poland-ROK military contract, he was involved as Poland Task Force within Hanwha Systems to lead and support the negotiation for the K9SPH and K2MBT fire control systems.
In 2023 Summer, he was appointed as a venture capital internship program mentor in San Francisco for Hanwha Venture Capital. In such experience, he provided guidance for strategic development for aerospace and defense sector especially in the naval and communications area.
Prior to joining Hanwha Systems, he was a sales associate in Hanwha Corporation/Trade Machinery and Bearing Team responsible for managing sales, import and data analysis.
He served as platoon leader in 1st Division of ROK Marine Corps, Tank Battalion where he participated numerous field exercises such as 2017 KMEP and Ssangyong Exercise alongside with USMC before retiring as first lieutenant.
