Col (Ret) Stéphane Le Floch joined the French Army Aviation in 1990. He has served in the French military for 28 years. His early assigments include postings to a GAZELLE 20mm Gun Squadron belonging to the 1 st Combat Helicopters Regiment then in a COUGAR UH Squadron. Assigned to the 4 th Special Operation Army Regiment, he took command of the 1 st Special Operation Squadron fitted with PUMA and COUGAR helicopters. Throughout 15 years spent in operational units, he was deployed in BOSNIA, IVOIRY COAST and AFGHANISTAN. In 2009, he attended the French Staff College course and then joined the headquarters of the Airmobile Brigade as head of G3. During this period, he took part to operations in LIBYA, SOMALIA and MALI. In 2013, he became Commanding Officer of the Combat Training Army Aviation Base and finished his military career in charge of collaborative combat issues. After a first experience, working for SAFRAN HELICOPTER ENGINES as head of the training centre for the EUROPE-MIDDLE EAST-AFRICA regions, he is now in charge of the strategic marketing for AIRBUS Combat Military Range.
