Professor Marta Postuła

First Vice President of the Management Board, BGK

Professor of Social Sciences and habilitated doctor in Economic Sciences, specializing in finance.
At Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, she is responsible for the areas of markets and national and European programs, including instruments related to the defense sector and billions of euros from the National Recovery Plan and EU funds.

She is both a practitioner and academic expert in finance, with many years of experience in the public and financial sectors. She heads the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw, where she teaches courses in economics and finance.

She is a member of the Committee on Financial Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and part of the Senior Budget Officials Working Group at the OECD. From 1999 to 2016, she held senior positions in the Ministry of Finance. Since 2016, she has been working in the financial sector.

She has authored over 160 publications, including books and articles in the field of economics and finance, focusing especially on the role of public and investment finance in socio-economic development.

Her interests include financial transaction structuring, green bond issuance, and financial models involving public co-financing.
