Bang Jong-Goan is an executive advisor to Hyundai Rotem Company, Defense Solutions.
In his major work experience, he served as Head of the Force Planning Division at ROK Army HQ (Major General) after becoming Commander of the 8th Mechanized Division (Major General) in 2021.
He also served as Deputy Head of Force Planning at the ROK Chief of Staff (Brigadier General).
He earned a Ph.D. in defense management from Kwangwoon University in 2023 and worked as a professor of industry-academic cooperation at Seoul National University in 2024.
