Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Steve Shepro

Vice President, Integrated Customer Solutions, Pratt & Whitney

Lt General (Ret) Steve Shepro is the Vice President of Integrated Customer Solutions (ICS) for Pratt & Whitney, leading business development of the propulsion giant’s defense sector. He oversees domestic and global engagement with governments and industries to meet worldwide propulsion needs and leads aftermarket business growth across global facilities performing maintenance, overhaul, supply and field services.

Prior to his current role, Shep held the position of vice president of fixed-wing aircraft for Boeing Defense Space and Security, Global Sales & Marketing, and worked on Boeing’s corporate Sustainability Council, advancing the company’s approach on environmental priorities.

Prior to Boeing, General Shepro was the 21st Deputy Chairman of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Military Committee. A command pilot with more than 3,000 flying hours and 600 combat hours, he has held senior positions on the Joint Staff, Air Staff and Coalition staffs; he has commanded multiple operational wings, groups and squadrons; and has led US and coalition airmen in numerous global operations.

General Shepro is a distinguished graduate (magna cum laude) of the United States Air Force Academy and holds Master degrees from the University of Strasbourg, France and the National War College. He additionally holds certificates from Harvard University and the Argentine Air War College.

Shep is also a teaching fellow at SMU’s Tower Center for Public Policy and International Affairs, a senior mentor for the NATO Defense College, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a trustee of the Falcon Foundation and a director of the Olmsted Foundation.
