Hannah Thoburn is the EUCOM Strategy Director at Anduril, where she leads the company’s European development strategy.
Prior to Anduril, Hannah Thoburn served as Sr. Professional Staff Member on the U.S. Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee, where she led Chairman Jim Risch’s work and legislation on Europe, Eurasia, and NATO and was heavily involved in forming and passing supplemental bills to support Ukraine.
She was earlier a Professional Staff Member on the Armed Services Committee at the U.S. House of Representatives covering Russia, Europe, and U.S. European Command policy matters. From 2015-2018, Ms. Thoburn was a Research Fellow at the Hudson Institute, focused on Russia, Eastern Europe, and the transatlantic relationship. Ms. Thoburn earlier worked as a research assistant at the Brookings Institution’s Center on the United States and Europe, and spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in southern Ukraine.
Hannah Thoburn has widely published articles and analysis on a variety of European issues in outlets including The Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, Reuters, and The Atlantic. Ms. Thoburn earned her M.A. in International Relations from Yale University and also holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University.
